Can I be a full time coach?

June 24th, 2009 by richieelliott

Hi Guys

I supose I should start with who I am and where this is going, my name is Richie Elliott and I am a boxing coach. I train 4 state champions and 2 pro boxers and many more fighters, men, women, boys and girls. The problem is I also have a full time job and a young family. I want to coach full time but I guess it is a hard move for me to make as I would be relying on personal training to pay the bills but it would free me up to train my boxers during the day. I have coached personal trainers and they tell me to advertise and coach boxing to other personal trainers, pad work, skipping, bagwork ect… could anyone out there clients or personal trainers, tell me are YOU or would YOU be willing to be coached by a pro boxing trainer so you could. 1. become a better personal trainer or 2. learn to box as a client one on one, I am motivated but very very anxious. I would love your advice.

 Thanking you

Richie

PS. I have 2 boxers on this sunday, Arron his first Pro Bout and Becky her first boxing bout so Ill let you know how they go.
